CELEBRATING CONNECTIONS in the Events Community

It has been a wild ride the last couple of years and one I will always remember.  I want to thank those individuals that were there to elevate me to become a better leader. I have had the pleasure and honor to get to know Jenne Hohn, Kathy Newby, Melissa Jurcan, Moira McGovern, Allison Creager, Stephen McMichael and the members of our board.

Each year our strength becomes more evident in the programs we produce, the networking opportunities and the comprehensive communications that we strive to bring to the chapter. Thanks to our current board for stepping up and making it all happen.

Next year, a person I have the pleasure to work with and call my friend, Dana Macaulay, will fill the role of President. Our new board is a great combination of seasoned members as well as new members representing a cross culture of our industry. I cannot say enough about the rewards of participating on the board or on one of our committees. You will get so much more out of this association by your involvement.

We are mixing it up for our June Program with a Golf Tournament and Awards Dinner at Vintners Golf Club in Yountville on June 15, 2010. Come out and join the fun! This is an ideal setting for networking with event professionals. You do not need to be a golfer to come and play. We will have pros on the course and this is a Scramble, which to us non-golfers means: best shot counts (that will not be mine).
